Changes to Blog in the Near Future
Published by Toni November 17th, 2006 in Uncategorized.I hate to do this to all 2 of my devoted readers, but I’m planning on moving my blog once again. Although Tinka has been wonderful and gracious by giving me this subdomain, the time has come for me to get my own domain.
To be honest, I’m not looking forward to moving either. I’ll have to tell my legions of fans to change their bookmarks, submit the new URL to search engines, and change the information in all of my blog services (Technorati, Blog Explosion, etc). It’s a pain, I tell ya. But it needs to be done.
Obviously it won’t happen overnight. I’ll have to get the new domain, import my millions of entries to the new blog, and make all the necessary adjustments to the template. Man, I feel tired just talking about it.
For the longest time, the question for me was, “What domain name should I get?” Of course the first that comes to mind is simply kaonashigasuki (dot) com, but I wonder if that’s too long. I really wish I could just use kaonashi (dot) com, but someone already has it.
So what do you guys think? What domain name should I use? Does kaonashigasuki (dot) com sound all right?

Well theimpulsivebuy.com is slightly longer than kaonashigasuki (dot) com, so to me it’s not that long.
I’ve been able to remember kaonashi just fine and it’s okay to make us all learn new words. =P It’s the magic of browser history that the rest will get filled in the next time you type it in the address bar (if you’re as old-fashioned as I can be.)
It sounds cool enough, but I wonder whether I could commit it to memory.

You might also consider looking into kaonashi.org or kaonashi.info as possible domain names, too.
