Hungry Snake

A hungry snake in southern Taiwan almost swallowed one fourth of its
own body before reptile experts managed to make it release the tail
from its mouth. Tourists at the Taiwan National Marine Biology Museum
discovered on Monday afternoon that the 120 cm “king snake” imported
from the USA was swallowing itself inch by inch from the tail. Experts
called to the scene massaged the non-poisonous snake for about an hour
to make it release itself. Keepers at the museum said the snake became
hungry as they were behind schedule in feeding it with mice.
